Wayne Rooney could get £200,000-a-week at United.

Wayne Rooney is the most influential player at United and it appears he would soon sign a new 5 yr contract which could see him take home a whopping £200,000-a-week. If this deal is sgned he would be one of the highest paid footballers in the world alongside Ronaldo who takes home close to £250,000-a-week including image rights and tax benifits.

I am sure a lot of European clubs would see the current financial state of United as an opportunity to get Rooney and therefore a lot would depend on how Sir Alex decides to go about this deal. United would be keen on keeping Rooney at all costs and therefore a deal is likely sooner than later.
